Ming Gong, assistant professor, 2019 MIT Technology Review China '35 under 35' winner. He obtained the bachelor degree from Tsinghua University in 2011 and obtained the Ph.D degree from Stanford University in 2016. From 2016 to 2019, he was a postdoctoral fellow in University of California, Berkeley. His current research focus is on energy and environmental electrocatalysis, aiming at using diverse molecular tools for efficient tuning and mechanistic understanding of the heterogeneous catalyst surfaces on a precise level. He has published 25 peer-reviewed papers and 2 review papers with >6000 citation and an h-index of 21. Among them, he published 13 papers as the first author or co-first author, including Nature, Science, Nature Comm., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., Adv. Mater., Energy & Environ.
